I've recently come to a realization.  The tears shed by a christian, for another christian who has just passed, is completely selfish.  The one who passes is far better off than those of us that remain.  They have a new body, no longer having to deal with a heart that went through a quadruple by-pass, a half removed digestive tract, border line diabetes, full body swelling, having to relearn how to breath, blood vessels that seem to simply rupture randomly because they are so weakened by 19 years of blood thinners, and a host of other issues.  Best of all, they are walking with The Lord.  Having said all that, the same selfish tears still burns.  They still hurt.  They still suck.  They still flow.

So Sept 23 seems to be the big day for me 'n my lady.

No dinner afterwards, sorry, but that just gets things too
complicated, and way to expensive.  There will be a lunch thing after,
but that's about it.. not too formal.. that just get's too boring.
It'll be in Palo Alto, most likely, and it'll probably start late
morningish.  as you can tell, we don't really have all the plans
worked out, but it's cool.

If you wanna come, shoot me an email, if you don't, it's cool to
cause, quite frankly, these things bore me to tears too.  Also,
apparently, seats are pretty badly limited, so if you want an invite,
please come.
